Terms of Service

This update clarifies existing statutory rights and current service operation. It does not retrospectively restrict consumer rights or amend earlier contracts to your disadvantage.

1. Introductory provisions

1.1 The operator

These Terms of Service (the Terms) govern the use of Chirp Coop (the Game), the idle egg-draw collection mobile-and-web game published at chirpcoop.com and on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The Game is operated by Remény Farm Kft. (the Operator), a Hungarian limited-liability company.

• Registered name: Remény Farm Kft.
• Registered seat: 3343 Bekolce, Szabadsag utca 50, Hungary
• Tax number: 26667089-2-10
• Company registry number: 10-09-037306
• Registry court: Egri Torvenyszek Cegbirosaga (Court of Registration at the Eger Tribunal)
• Managing director: Dávid Goldmann
• Contact email: info@remenyfarm.hu
• Support phone: +36 30 734 3662

The Operator's full identification data is also published in the Impressum.

1.2 Scope and acceptance

These Terms set out the binding agreement between the Operator and any natural person who creates a Chirp Coop account (a Player) or who uses the Game without creating an account. By installing the Game, creating an account, or making an in-app purchase, the Player accepts these Terms and the associated Privacy Policy.

These Terms govern the Game. They are distinct from the Hungarian-language General Terms (the ASZF, in Hungarian rendered as the local-language general terms of service) at /aszf on the patron host tyutyu.hu, which govern the separate real-chicken care service. Both documents share the same legal entity, governing law, and processor list, but they describe different services and impose different obligations.

1.3 Language

The authoritative version of these Terms is the English text published at chirpcoop.com/terms. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience; in the event of a discrepancy, the English text prevails.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following capitalised terms have the meanings set out below.

• Player — a natural person who has created a Chirp Coop account, or who uses the Game without creating an account.
• Account — the persistent Supabase identity used for the Game. It may begin as an anonymous account after a successful security challenge and may later be linked to email without changing its opaque user identifier.
• Queen — the unique in-game persistent avatar assigned to each Player at first hatch. A Player has exactly one Queen at a time; the Queen is never replaced by a different Queen during the life of the Account.
• Real Chicken — a physical hen kept on the Operator's farm in Hungary and linked to a Player who holds an active Patron-tier subscription on the patron host tyutyu.hu. The Real Chicken remains the Operator's property; the Player receives service outputs and Game-side recognition, not ownership or possession of the animal.
• Patron tier — the optional, paid subscription to the separate real-chicken care service. Patron-tier purchases are governed primarily by the Hungarian general terms at /aszf; the Game-side surface of the Patron tier is governed by these Terms.
• Egg Draw — the probabilistic in-Game draw mechanic by which the Player obtains cosmetic items, breed skins, and other consumables.
• Rare Guarantee — the guaranteed-rare floor that triggers after a configurable number of consecutive non-rare Egg Draws. See section 5 for the published parameters.
• Chronicle — the short daily narrative entry generated for the Player's Queen by an artificial-intelligence model and displayed privately to that Player.
• Transcendence — the in-Game state transition that follows the symbolic life-end of a Queen. Transcendence preserves continuity inside the private Account; it does not publish the Queen.
• In-app purchase or IAP — any monetary purchase made inside the mobile Game through the Apple App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCat used for purchase and entitlement orchestration. IAP is limited to mobile-game virtual goods such as gifts, cosmetics, paid egg draws, and noncompetitive convenience boosts. Real-chicken Patron checkout is a separate web Stripe service governed primarily by the Hungarian general terms at /aszf, not a mobile-native IAP flow.
• Cosmetic — an item or unlock that changes the visual presentation of a Queen, the Player's coop, or the Player's profile, without changing the Game's progression curves, published odds, or competitive standing.
• Convenience — an item or unlock that reduces a Player's friction (for example, a one-tap collect button) without raising the Player's maximum reachable progression beyond what is reachable without the purchase.
• Narrative content — paid story chapters, lore unlocks, and cosmetic dialogue lines that do not affect Game mechanics.
• AI — an artificial-intelligence model used by the Operator to generate text or images on behalf of the Game.
• Operator content — every piece of text, image, audio, animation, code, and AI output published by the Operator inside the Game.
• Player content — every piece of text submitted by the Player (display name, Queen name, clan tag, profile links, clan-chat messages, and any other free-text input).

3. License to use the Game

3.1 Grant of licence

Subject to the Player's continued compliance with these Terms, the Operator grants the Player a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install, access, and play the Game for the Player's personal, non-commercial entertainment. The licence is granted for the term during which the Player's Account remains active and these Terms remain in force.

3.2 Reservation of rights

All rights not expressly granted to the Player are reserved by the Operator and, where applicable, by the Operator's licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Game, of any in-Game item, of any Queen, or of any Operator content to the Player.

3.3 Restrictions

The Player must not, and must not permit any third party to:

1. reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Game, except to the extent that the applicable mandatory law authorises such acts (in particular, the interoperability exception in Directive (EU) 2009/24/EC, transposed into Hungarian copyright law);
2. modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Game, other than user-generated content explicitly accepted by the Game's submission flow;
3. distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, sell, or otherwise transfer access to the Game or to any Account;
4. use cheats, exploits, automation tools, bots, scrapers, packet manipulators, modified clients, memory editors, or any other technical means that bypass the Game's intended interaction model;
5. circumvent or attempt to circumvent the Game's anti-cheat, rate-limiting, or fraud-detection mechanisms;
6. use the Game in a manner that is intended to disrupt the experience of other Players, including but not limited to denial-of-service, spam, or coordinated harassment campaigns.

Breach of this section is a material breach of these Terms and may result in suspension or termination of the Account under section 9.

4. Account registration and eligibility

4.1 Account creation

The game-capable Chirp Coop app may create an anonymous Supabase Account after a successful Cloudflare Turnstile challenge. The Player does not need to provide an email before first play. The security token is kept in process memory and passed directly to Supabase Auth for verification; the Operator does not place it in URLs, storage, logs, analytics, or HTML.

The Player may later link and verify an email identity on the same Account. A successful upgrade preserves the original Supabase user identifier and Game progress. If the email already belongs to another Account, the Accounts are not merged and no progress is transferred. Email sign-in uses a one-time code or magic link; the Operator does not store passwords on the Player's behalf.

A Player may hold only one Account. The Operator reserves the right to merge or close duplicate Accounts that appear to be operated by the same natural person, after notice to the Player.

4.2 Minimum age

The Game is intended for Players aged 13 and over. The Operator does not knowingly create Accounts for, or address marketing to, children under 13.

4.3 Parental consent for Players aged 13 to 15 in the EU

Under Article 8 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR), the lawful processing of a child's personal data on the basis of consent requires verified parental authorisation if the child is below the consent age set by the child's Member State. In Hungary, that age is 16 for processing based on consent. For Players resident in the European Union who are aged 13 to 15, the Operator obtains and verifies parental or guardian consent before completing Account creation. Verified consent flows through the Player's platform-level parental-controls service (Apple Family Sharing, Google Family Library, or the equivalent) where available, and through a dedicated in-Game flow where it is not.

4.4 Real-money purchases

In-app purchases by Players who are under the age of majority in their country of residence are gated by the platform-level parental controls offered by Apple Family Sharing and Google Family Library. The Operator does not bypass those controls and does not offer a parallel purchase flow that circumvents them.

4.5 Patron tier and the separate 18-plus real-chicken service

The real-chicken care service at tyutyu.hu is a separate product with its own general terms (/aszf) and is reserved for natural persons aged 18 and over, in line with Hungarian contract-capacity rules. Nothing in these Terms grants a minor access to the real-chicken care service. The in-Game surface that mirrors a Player's real-chicken status is governed by these Terms; the underlying service is governed by the separate Hungarian-language general terms.

The one-time gift-code version of the real-chicken service is additionally described in the Gift Patronage Terms. A gift code is valid for six months from purchase, and its fixed patronage term starts only when the recipient redeems it.

4.6 Account security

The Player is responsible for keeping the email inbox bound to the Account secure and for promptly notifying the Operator of any unauthorised access. Magic links sent to that inbox grant access to the Account; the Player must not share the link or forward it to third parties.

4.7 Suspension for false data

If the Player provides false or misleading information during Account creation (in particular, a false age or a false parental-consent record), the Operator may suspend or close the Account under section 9, without refund of unconsumed in-Game balances except where mandatory consumer-protection rules require otherwise.

5. In-app purchases, Egg Draws, Rare Guarantees, and the no-pay-to-win commitment

The first international soft-launch cohort has no advertising and no in-app purchases. RevenueCat and advertising SDKs are not initialised for that cohort, and Patron or real-farm status changes no Game state, progression, currency, odds, score, or rank. The IAP provisions below apply only if a later accepted release makes those products available; they do not claim that a store listing or paid product is currently live.

5.1 What in-app purchases unlock

In-app purchases in the Game unlock only:

1. Cosmetics — visual changes to the Queen, the coop, the Player's profile, and the Game's environmental layers;
2. Virtual gifts — social or cosmetic gifts that have no cash value and do not change ranked scoring;
3. Convenience boosts — friction-reducing utilities such as one-tap collection, expanded inventory slots, and accelerated visual animations that do not change the underlying schedule of Game events or ranked scoring;
4. Narrative content — paid story chapters, lore unlocks, and cosmetic dialogue lines that do not change Game mechanics;
5. Egg Draws — additional draws against the published probability tables described in section 5.3, subject to published odds, visible Rare Guarantee state, pool rules, and purchase limits.

The Operator commits, contractually and in product design, that no in-app purchase will:

• change the published Egg Draw odds against the Player making the purchase or against any other Player;
• raise the Player's maximum reachable progression beyond the ceiling reachable by an unpaying Player playing the same calendar time;
• buy a leaderboard rank, a competitive standing, or any reward gated by competitive standing;
• modify the parameters of the daily pet-and-happiness micro-loop (including the free daily pet, the happiness curve, and the cooldown schedule).

This commitment is the no-pay-to-win rule of the Game. It is non-waivable and is enforced internally as a binding invariant of the Game's design.

5.2 Patron tier and the non-stacking, unranked +10 % queen-XP cap

The Patron tier (the optional real-chicken care subscription described in section 4.5) grants a small, capped in-Game effect: the Player's Queen earns at most +10 % queen experience points (queen-XP) while the Patron tier is active. This effect is aggregate, non-stacking, and unranked-only. It:

• is capped at +10 % per Queen and is not stackable;
• does not change Egg Draw odds;
• does not change leaderboard scoring rules;
• does not change ranked stats or competitive standing;
• does not unlock content otherwise unreachable by a non-Patron Player;
• is published in-Game with the same prominence as the rest of the Game's progression rules.

The cap is fixed by the Operator's internal design rules and may only be lowered, not raised, without an amendment to these Terms publicly announced at least 30 days in advance.

5.3 Egg Draw odds and the Rare Guarantee

The Operator publishes, inside the Game, the complete odds of every Egg Draw pool offered to the Player, including:

• the probability of each rarity tier per single draw;
• the probability of every featured item per single draw;
• the parameters and current state of the Rare Guarantee for the active Player;
• the active pool rules, including whether the pool is time-limited;
• any spending, purchase, or draw limits that apply to that pool.

The Rare Guarantee of the Game is a fifty-draw guaranteed-rare floor: every Player is guaranteed at least one rare-tier or higher item by the fiftieth consecutive draw that does not otherwise produce a rare-tier or higher item. The Rare Guarantee counter is per-Player and per-pool, and it persists across sessions until it is consumed.

The Operator commits not to modify the published odds or the Rare Guarantee parameters without an in-Game announcement at least seven days in advance, except where a smaller change is required to fix a verified defect (in which case the Operator publishes the change as soon as the defect is identified).

The Operator does not use hidden probabilities, paid-user odds boosts, near-miss presentations, deceptive urgency, or other dark-pattern presentation that obscures the cost or probability of an Egg Draw.

5.4 Platforms, billing, and refunds

Mobile in-app purchases made through the Apple App Store and Google Play are completed and billed by the platform, with RevenueCat used for purchase and entitlement orchestration. Refund requests for those purchases are governed by the platform's own refund policy:

• Apple — through the App Store Report a Problem flow;
• Google — through Google Play purchase history.

Real-chicken Patron checkout uses the patron web surface and Stripe Checkout, not mobile-native IAP or RevenueCat. Refunds for the real-chicken Patron service are handled under the Hungarian general terms and withdrawal notice linked from /aszf.

5.5 Virtual goods are not currency

In-Game items, including soft-currency balances such as feathers or coins, are licensed virtual goods, not legal tender, securities, or stored-value instruments. They have no monetary value outside the Game, are non-transferable between Accounts, and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Operator may adjust the Game's economy at any time to maintain fairness, subject to the no-pay-to-win commitment in section 5.1 and to applicable mandatory law.

5.6 Taxes

Prices displayed in the Game are inclusive of value-added tax (VAT) where the platform displays gross prices, and exclusive of VAT where the platform displays net prices. Any taxes payable by the Player on the Player's own income or wealth in connection with the Game are the Player's sole responsibility.

6. Private Queen Continuity, Account Deletion, and Real-Chicken Records

6.1 One private Queen per Player

Each Player has exactly one named virtual Queen for the lifetime of the active Account. The Queen is created through the server-authoritative Game flow and is never replaced by a reroll or swap during normal operation. Her name, portrait, Chronicles, brood state, milestones, and history are private Account data by default. Chirp Coop does not provide a public virtual-Queen profile or public serial directory.

6.2 Transcendence as a private state transition

When the Queen reaches the in-Game life-end milestone, she enters Transcendence. This preserves her identity and history inside the Account. It does not publish the Queen or convert her private data into a permanent public record.

6.3 Account deletion

Anonymous and permanent Players can initiate deletion in the mobile app or through the authenticated web resource at /account/delete.

1. Anonymous deletion immediately removes the Supabase Auth Account and its private Queen, brood, and wallet/ledger data not legally retained. Matching telemetry and push records are queued for separately verified processor erasure.
2. The standard permanent-account flow allows seven days to cancel the request, followed by automatic processing. Withdrawal is handled through support using the contact in the Privacy Policy, before processing starts. It does not automatically renew subscriptions or email-list membership. The deletion resource reports timing. The same contact handles requests for earlier erasure. Additional identity information is requested only as necessary to resolve reasonable doubts. The cancellation window does not extend the statutory response deadline.
3. Necessary accounting records remain subject to statutory retention. Limited rights-correspondence and closed-case evidence have separate expiry rules under the Privacy Policy; optional email copies and personal notes do not automatically inherit the accounting period. A specific legal hold requires its own justification.
4. Unconsumed in-Game balances are forfeited on deletion except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

6.4 Real Chicken profile permanence

Where a Player held a Patron-tier subscription, the linked Real Chicken's non-identifying portrait, life history and farm Chronicles remain permanently public, including after the animal's life ends. The Operator closes patronage as required and removes identifying references to the former Player. Any remaining content that identifies a person remains subject to data-protection law and needs its own lawful basis and retention limit. A reversible alias is not erasure, and this permanence rule or a content licence does not waive the Player's statutory rights.

7. AI-generated content disclosure

7.1 Daily Morning Chronicle

The Game generates a Morning Chronicle describing the Queen's day in the Game's lore voice. The Chronicle is produced using a configurable Anthropic Claude model. The Privacy Policy describes the information used to generate it and the provider's retention rules.

7.2 Labelling

Every AI-generated entry is labelled as AI-generated inside the Game, with a visible tag or icon adjacent to the entry. The label is part of the entry and is not removable through cosmetic purchases.

7.3 Nature of AI content

Chronicle entries are creative narrative, not factual statements about any specific person, animal, place, or event in the real world. A Chronicle's description of a Queen's mood, behaviour, or experience is a stylised lore narration, not a veterinary, medical, or otherwise expert opinion. Where a Chronicle references a Real Chicken (for Patron-tier Players), the same rule applies: the Chronicle is creative, not a veterinary report on the actual hen.

7.4 No personal data in prompts

The Operator does not send Player-identifying personal data (email address, billing data, IP address) to the AI provider as part of the Chronicle generation prompt. The prompt contains in-Game state (Queen name, Queen mood derived from in-Game telemetry, recent in-Game events) and, for Patron-tier Players, anonymised group-level real-chicken telemetry. Detail of the AI processing flow is documented in the Privacy Policy.

7.5 Other AI-generated content

The Operator may, from time to time, use AI models for additional features (for example, procedural illustration, audio synthesis, or in-Game tooltips). Every such feature is labelled in-Game as AI-generated where the output is presented to the Player as content, and is governed by the same creative-not-factual disclaimer as the Chronicle.

8. Player content and acceptable use

8.1 What counts as Player content

Player content includes every piece of free-text data submitted by the Player, including:

• the Player's display name;
• the Queen's name;
• the Player's clan tag;
• social or profile links submitted to the Player's Account profile;
• any in-Game chat or clan-chat messages;
• any other input field that accepts free text.

8.2 Player warranties

By submitting Player content, the Player represents and warrants that:

1. the Player has the right to submit the content and to grant the licence described in section 8.4;
2. the content does not infringe any third party's intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights;
3. the content does not contain personal data of any other natural person submitted without that person's lawful authorisation;
4. the content complies with the acceptable-use rules in section 8.3.

8.3 Acceptable-use rules

The Player must not submit Player content that:

• is unlawful under Hungarian law, under the law of the Player's country of residence, or under Union law;
• infringes another person's intellectual-property rights, including the use of registered trademarks as Queen names without the right-holder's authorisation;
• depicts or promotes child sexual abuse, terrorism, self-harm, or other content prohibited under Hungarian or Union law;
• constitutes harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeted bullying of any natural person or group;
• impersonates the Operator, the Operator's staff, a public figure, or another Player in a way intended to mislead;
• contains advertising, spam, malware, phishing links, or links to gambling services that bypass the Game's own age and consent gating;
• is otherwise contrary to public decency or to community standards reasonably enforced by the Operator.

8.4 Licence to Operator

The Player grants the Operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, display, adapt, and otherwise host Player content only as needed to operate and promote the Game and any public surface to which the Player deliberately submits that content. Private virtual-Queen content stays Account-scoped and is deleted under section 6.3.

The Player retains all other rights to Player content and may at any time request removal of specific Player content under section 8.6.

8.5 Operator moderation

The Operator may, at its discretion and without prior notice:

• review any Player content;
• remove or replace Player content that breaches section 8.3 or that is reasonably suspected of breaching it;
• restrict, suspend, or close any Account responsible for repeated or serious breaches.

Moderation is best-effort. The absence of a moderation action on a particular piece of Player content does not constitute the Operator's endorsement or approval of that content.

8.6 Player removal requests

The Player may request removal of specific content through the Account controls or the contact in section 13.3. Personal-data requests receive information about action taken without undue delay and within one calendar month. A necessary extension of up to two further months must be explained within the first month, as described in the Privacy Policy. Private Virtual-Queen content is deleted under section 6.3. Identifying mentions in a Real Chicken's public farm record are removed under section 6.4.

9. Termination and suspension

9.1 Termination by the Player

The Player may stop using the Game at any time. Uninstalling the Game from the Player's device does not, on its own, terminate the Account or any active subscription. To delete the Account, the Player may use the in-Game deletion flow or the authenticated web resource at /account/delete.

Account deletion is processed under section 6.3. Any linked real-chicken patronage is closed as required, and the Real Chicken's public farm record is handled separately under section 6.4.

9.2 Termination by the Operator

The Operator may suspend or terminate the Account, with or without notice depending on the severity, where:

• the Player materially breaches these Terms, including the restrictions in section 3.3 and the acceptable-use rules in section 8.3;
• the Player engages in fraud, chargeback abuse, or other dishonest conduct in relation to in-app purchases;
• the Player uses automation, cheats, exploits, or modified clients in breach of section 3.3;
• the Player provides false age or false parental-consent data, or otherwise circumvents the age gate;
• the Operator is required to terminate the Account by a competent authority or by mandatory law;
• the Operator decides, on reasonable notice of at least 30 days, to discontinue the Game as a whole (in which case section 9.4 applies).

9.3 Effects of termination

Termination ends the Player's licence to use the Game (section 3.1) and the Player's right to access the Account. Private Game identity is handled under section 6.3, and any linked Real Chicken's farm record under section 6.4. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (including sections 6, 8.4, 10, 11, and 12) survive termination.

9.4 Discontinuation of the Game

If the Operator discontinues the Game as a whole, the Operator will, where reasonably possible:

• publish a sunset notice in-Game at least 30 days before the discontinuation date;
• maintain linked Real Chicken public farm records for a reasonable period after the Game's online services end;
• refund any pre-paid, unconsumed Patron-tier balances pro rata, in line with the relevant Stripe or payment-platform procedures.

Refunds of consumed in-Game balances or of cosmetic items already delivered are not provided on discontinuation.

10. Limitation of liability

10.1 General cap

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable mandatory law, the Operator's aggregate liability to the Player arising out of or in connection with the Game and these Terms is capped at the total amount actually paid by the Player to the Operator (directly or through the Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or Stripe) during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10.2 Mandatory carve-outs

The cap in section 10.1 does not apply to:

• liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence of the Operator, to the extent such carve-out is required by Hungarian law;
• liability for personal injury caused by the Operator's breach, to the extent such carve-out is required by Hungarian law (in particular, Article 6:152 of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code);
• any other liability that under mandatory Hungarian or Union law cannot be limited or excluded.

10.3 Excluded categories

Subject to section 10.2, the Operator is not liable for:

• indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages;
• loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or loss of anticipated savings;
• loss of in-Game items, in-Game balances, or in-Game progression resulting from a Player's breach of these Terms;
• service outages, performance defects, or errors caused by third-party providers (Apple, Google, Vercel, Supabase, Anthropic, RevenueCat, OpenWeatherMap, Sentry) operating outside the Operator's reasonable control;
• changes to the Game's content or balance that are consistent with the no-pay-to-win commitment in section 5.1.

10.4 AI-generated content

The Operator is not liable for any decision the Player or any third party takes in reliance on AI-generated Chronicle content. Chronicle entries are creative narration (section 7.3); they are not professional advice of any kind.

10.5 Force majeure

The Operator is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events outside the Operator's reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disaster, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, strikes, government action, epidemic, pandemic, infrastructure failure, or platform-level outages at Apple, Google, Vercel, or Supabase. Where a force-majeure event prevents the Operator from delivering a paid feature, the Operator will, where reasonably possible, extend the affected subscription term in lieu of monetary compensation.

11. Third-party services

11.1 Processors and integrations

The Game depends on a set of third-party services. The current processor list, with the legal basis and category of processing for each, is published in the Privacy Policy. At the date of these Terms the principal processors used by the Game are:

• Vercel Inc. — hosting and content delivery (United States);
• Supabase Inc. — database, authentication, and edge-function execution (United States);
• Cloudflare Inc. — Turnstile abuse prevention and a stateless privacy relay for mobile release-health events (United States);
• Anthropic PBC — AI generation, configurable Claude model (United States);
• OneSignal, Inc. — mobile push delivery and notification interaction data (United States);
• RevenueCat Inc. — future mobile Game IAP purchase and entitlement management; not initialised for the first international soft-launch cohort (United States);
• Apple Inc. and Google LLC — platform-level IAP billing (United States);
• OpenWeatherMap Ltd. — meteorological data for Patron-tier surfaces (United Kingdom);
• Functional Software Inc. (Sentry) — scrubbed error monitoring without replay, screenshots, attachments, profiling, or performance tracing (United States);
• PostHog Inc. — raw first-cohort product analytics with an opaque, property-free erasure key under the strict event allowlist in the Privacy Policy (United States).
• Capgo (Digital Shift OU) — aggregate OTA delivery, launch-readiness, WebView timing, and native release-health processing after Cloudflare relay minimisation (Estonia / global service).

Transfers of personal data to processors based outside the European Economic Area rely either on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision (where the processor is certified) or on standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, as documented in the Privacy Policy.

11.2 Third-party platform terms

Where the Game runs on the Apple App Store or Google Play, the platform's own terms of service apply to the Player's use of the platform itself. Where an in-app purchase is completed by Apple or Google, the platform's refund and billing rules apply to that purchase. The Operator is not a party to those platform terms and does not represent the Player in interactions with the platform.

11.3 External links

The Game may contain links to third-party websites and services. The Operator is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of those third parties. Following an external link is at the Player's own risk.

12. Dispute resolution

12.1 Governing law

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and subject to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the Player's country of habitual residence where those rules grant the Player a higher level of protection. The following Hungarian statutes apply in particular:

• Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (Polgari Torvenykonyv);
• Act CLV of 1997 on Consumer Protection;
• Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on detailed rules of consumer contracts;
• Act CVIII of 2001 on certain aspects of electronic commerce services;
• Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR);
• Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on a Single Market for Digital Services (the DSA).

12.2 Jurisdiction

Jurisdiction is determined by the applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer's mandatory right to bring a claim in the courts of their country of residence or allows the Operator to sue a consumer in a court that would not otherwise have jurisdiction.

12.3 Complaint handling

Before initiating any formal proceedings, the Player should first contact the Operator at the email address listed in section 1.1 and in section 13.3. The Operator responds to written complaints in substance within 30 calendar days of receipt.

12.4 EU consumer redress

The former European Commission ODR platform closed on 20 July 2025. The Commission's Consumer Redress portal provides guidance and a directory of approved alternative dispute-resolution bodies; it is not the former online complaint platform.

12.5 Hungarian conciliation boards

The competent conciliation board normally depends on the consumer's place of residence. The regional board covering Heves, Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen and Nograd is:

• Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen County Conciliation Board, operated by the county Chamber of Commerce and Industry
• Seat: 3525 Miskolc, Szentpali u. 1, Hungary
• Postal address: 3501 Miskolc, Pf. 376, Hungary
• New cases: +36 46 501 091
• Email: bekeltetes@bokik.hu
• Board contact details

The procedure is free for consumers, and the business must cooperate as required by law. Other competent bodies and consumer-protection authorities are listed in the Hungarian consumer authority's directory. Access to a court remains available.

13. Closing provisions

13.1 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision is severed from these Terms to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect. The Operator and the Player shall replace the severed provision with a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the original intent.

13.2 Amendments

The Operator may amend these Terms — in particular, in response to changes in applicable law, in the Game's design, or in the Operator's service offering — by publishing the amended Terms at chirpcoop.com/terms and, where the change is material, by notifying active Players by email or by an in-Game banner at least 30 days before the amended Terms take effect. A material amendment includes:

• a change to the no-pay-to-win commitment in section 5.1;
• a change to the profile-permanence rule in section 6;
• a change to the limitation of liability in section 10;
• a change to governing law or jurisdiction.

Players who do not accept a material amendment may close the Account before the amended Terms take effect; continued use of the Game after that date constitutes acceptance.

13.3 Contact

The Player may contact the Operator about these Terms at:
