Gift patronage terms
Effective: 22 August 2026
Effective: 22 August 2026
1. Scope
These Gift Patronage Terms apply to Remény Farm Kft.'s one-time digital gift code for a fixed-term real-hen patronage service. They supplement the Hungarian General Terms and the Privacy Notice shown at checkout. Mandatory consumer-protection law prevails over any conflicting wording.
2. Product and roles
- Buyer: the person who pays through Stripe Checkout or at the Operator's staffed point of sale and provides the buyer email address. For an online purchase, the Buyer may schedule delivery to a recipient.
- Recipient: the person who redeems the gift code and chooses an available hen for the purchased term.
- Gift code: a single-use digital code and printable voucher created for the successful payment.
The gift code grants no ownership, possession, animal transfer, or transferable property right. The hen remains in the Operator's care and ownership. Patronage is a service relationship covering the published digital views, story, naming, and other service outputs.
3. Order, price, and payment
The online gift is available for a fixed 3-, 6-, or 12-month term at the one-time price shown in checkout. The market gift sold at a staffed point of sale covers one hen for one month at a one-time gross price of HUF 4,990, including 27% VAT.
Online payment is processed by Stripe Checkout; the Operator does not receive card numbers. A staffed point of sale accepts cash or payment through a separate card terminal. The kiosk records only the payment method, buyer email, receipt, and data needed to fulfil the gift code; it does not receive card details processed by the terminal.
The contract is formed after successful online payment and electronic confirmation, or at a staffed point of sale after the seller confirms payment and the purchase is confirmed. If payment fails or available capacity is exhausted before fulfilment, no usable code is issued and the failed transaction is not a completed gift purchase.
4. Delivery and redemption
- After payment, the Buyer receives the code at the buyer email address. At a staffed point of sale, the code is also shown on the kiosk screen so the Buyer can photograph it, and the electronic receipt is sent by email.
- The Buyer may request delivery to a Recipient on a selected date. The Buyer still receives a copy of the code.
- The Recipient redeems the code at
/gift/redeemand chooses from the hens available at that time. - The patronage term starts when the code is successfully redeemed, not when the gift is purchased.
The code is redeemable for six months from purchase. An expired, redeemed, refunded, or fraud-suspended code cannot be used. The code must not be posted publicly; the first person to redeem it successfully is treated as the Recipient.
5. Continuing the one-month patronage
When the market gift code is redeemed, the one-month patronage starts immediately. In the account, the Recipient may separately choose to continue that patronage as a monthly subscription after the fixed term. The Recipient adds a payment method and accepts the presented terms on Stripe's secure page.
Adding the card does not shorten the already paid month. The first recurring charge is due no earlier than after the fixed term ends. If the Recipient does not arrange continuation, patronage ends at the close of the paid term. A continuation does not allocate another hen; it continues patronage of the same hen.
6. Withdrawal, commencement, and refunds
The Buyer's withdrawal and cancellation rights are described in the Withdrawal Information. At checkout, the Buyer expressly requests the immediate creation and delivery of the digital gift code. The Buyer acknowledges that digital-code delivery and the commencement of patronage after redemption are separate performance stages; the legal consequences are assessed under the mandatory consumer rules applicable to the transaction.
For a refund request, the Buyer should email rendeles@tyutyu.hu with the
order or receipt identifier and buyer email address. Before refunding, the
Operator checks the code and payment state. A refund involving a redeemed code,
or any partial or complete refund after redemption, requires support review;
the Operator may temporarily freeze further redemption or changes while the
review is open.
7. Support and complaints
The Buyer or Recipient may report delivery errors, redemption failures,
unauthorised use, or payment disputes at rendeles@tyutyu.hu. The complaint
process and available consumer-redress routes are set out in section 15 of the
General Terms.
8. Changes and language
The version in force at purchase governs that gift code. The Operator may update these terms for future purchases; an update does not retroactively reduce the terms of an already purchased, valid code. The Hungarian text is the primary consumer notice for purchases made in Hungary; this English version is provided for convenience.
