The farm story
Remény Farm is a regenerative family farm in Mikófalva, a village in the Bükk foothills of northern Hungary. Founders Anna and David started the farm in 2019, spending their first winter in a caravan, and today they keep about 2000 laying hens on pasture alongside sheep and cattle.
The farm is EARA-certified organic. Patronage fees fund its long-term regeneration goal: the 29-hectare Liget silvopasture, a tree-planting project on the Mikófalva land that turns open pasture into a wooded grazing system.
In the hen patronage program, patrons sponsor a named hen that lives free-range on the farm pasture. The hen stays with the farm at all times: patrons never buy or hold the animal. They support its care, follow farm life through a digital companion, and pick up fresh organic eggs at Budapest collection points.
