Where donated eggs go

Every patron decides what happens with their share of real eggs: pick them up each week, donate them, or decide later. This page shows where donated eggs go and how the weekly close works.

Who receives the eggs

Donated eggs go to families near the farm who need them, and to local charitable organizations that share food with people in need. We are building lasting partnerships with named organizations and will introduce each one here as the agreements are settled.

How it works

Your hens lay all week and every clean egg is credited to your egg balance. If donation is your active choice at the weekly close on Saturday at 18:00, your full positive balance is moved to the donation pool. The farm hands donated eggs over from fresh, separately tracked stock, and every transfer appears in your egg ledger as a donation entry, so you always see exactly what you gave.

Donation is always your conscious choice. Nothing is donated automatically, and you can change your choice anytime.
